What this page is

This is the cookie declaration for rixx.dk, operated by RIXX.DK. It explains cookies and similar technologies under the ePrivacy Directive, UK PECR, GDPR/UK GDPR, and — where relevant — US state opt-out rules and LGPD. It is a starter text. It is not legal advice.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We treat similar technologies the same way when they store or access information on your device: local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and SDKs. First-party means we set it. Third-party means another domain sets it (for example an analytics or ads provider).

The rule we follow

Non-essential cookies wait for an active yes. Reject and accept have the same weight. No box is pre-ticked. You can withdraw as easily as you gave consent. Strictly necessary cookies may run without consent when they are essential to a service you asked for (security, login, cart, load balancing, remembering this choice). We do not use a fabricated IAB TCF string. Google Consent Mode v2 starts denied until you say yes.

Your choice

Use the banner or this button. The choice is stored for 180 days, then we ask again. If the cookie list or the rules change, we may ask again sooner. Global Privacy Control is treated as no to sale, sharing and marketing cookies.

The table is evidence-based. A scan of this WordPress site fills it. Names we do not find are not listed. After you scan, check that every row is true. Remove anything that is not used.

Categories and legal basis

Necessary — security, login, cart, consent receipt. Legal basis: the strictly necessary exemption and, for the receipt itself, legitimate interests / compliance. Set without a marketing yes.

Functional — language, remembered settings, chat or similar conveniences that are not strictly necessary. Legal basis: consent.

Analytics — measurement of how the site is used (for example Google Analytics). Legal basis: consent in the EU/EEA and the UK. Not used for ads unless you also accept marketing.

Marketing — ad pixels, profiles and remarketing (for example Meta, Google Ads, TikTok). Legal basis: consent. In the US this can also be “sharing” for targeted advertising; GPC opts you out.

How to delete cookies yourself

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can break login, cart or forms. See your browser’s help for cookies and site data.

Personal data
